How Jeannette found Reiki:

Jeannette has been working with the sacred Reiki energy since 1997.  She
was guided to this healing form when she experienced a terrible car accident
in 1997.  Through the use of Reiki she was able to heal herself: mind, body,
and spirit; and surprised the doctors through her speedy and complete
recovery.  In 2000 she received her Reiki I attunement and began working on
herself and others: her beloved pets, friends, family, and clients.  She received
her Reiki Master attunement in 2000 and has since been teaching Reiki.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to give you more detail on Reiki and the Reiki classes that I
teach at Angelic Waves of Light.  The way that I teach Reiki is a bit
different than the standard teachings.  I do cover the traditional Usui
teaching but I also like to discuss the chakra systems and also introduce
the use of crystals with Reiki.  All of the Reiki levels (level I through
Master) I teach this way.    It is important to understand the chakra
system and how the body holds energy, as this is what you are working
on when you do energy work.  In each class there is ample time for
hands on practice so you will walk away with an complete
understanding-  from knowledge to actual hands on work.    Below I've
added more details about the classes and Reiki.  I hope this answers any

Reiki and The Chakra Systems

What is Reiki?
Reiki is energy that is pure from Source- our Creator.  Reiki, as it is
known now in our civilization, has been around with every rise of highly
spiritual civilization.  It was not called Reiki then, but it was present and
utilized in the times of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome,
Atlantis, etc.  With each rise of highly spiritual civilization came the
ability for the physical body to hold higher and higher frequencies of
energy to be used to heal oneself or another.  So this energy work is not
new by any means.  

Incorporating The Chakra Systems
In Reiki I you will learn of the 7 core chakras, the 7 loving energy codes
which correspond to 7 of the 12 strand DNA.  The transference chakra
system is covered in Reiki II.  With this knowledge you will learn how to
balance the chakras and how to create a pure flow of energy in the core
channel of light.  In Advanced Reiki Training you will learn the
transcendental chakra system and what the power centers are in the
body.  You will learn how to activate these power centers to aid in
releasing old wounds and to aid in moving forward on the spiritual path.  
In the Reiki Master class you will learn of the auric chakras that lie just
outside of the body.  These are the 7th layer of the auric field of chakras.
 You will learn how to full open chakras and how to clear energy to
create harmony and balance in the chakra system.

Attunements
When you are attuned to Reiki energy you are attuned to pure energy
from Source.  There is no fragmenting of the energy, nor your access to
the energy.  It is a way for you to be able to channel energy pure from
Source- to bring it to a physical level.  The energy is channeled from
Source to your spiritual body then to the spiritual body of another.  So
there is no fragmenting of the energy nor is there the need to "add in"
your energy.  Since it comes pure from Source to your spiritual body, it
overrides the event of ego becoming involved and also overrides the
chance of you adding in your personal "stuff" to the energy when it is
channeled to another.  In this way Reiki can not do harm and is only sent
and received out of the highest good for all.

The 6 symbols
I received my Master/Teacher instruction and attunements through the
International Center for Reiki Training.  In this training I received the
Usui Master Symbol as well as the Tibetan Fire Symbol and the
Tibetan/Usui Master Symbol.  I utilize all 6 symbols when I attune
someone to each level of Reiki.  This attunement is different than an
attunement given by a Master who only has access to the 4 Usui
symbols.  The 6 symbol attunement allows for higher frequencies of
energy to pass to the person being attuned.  It allows for them to be able
to channel more energy at a higher frequency.  

Reiki Class Review
If you have had Reiki I or II before Reiki I and II reviews are required
before one can continue on to the ART or Master classes.  There are
things that we teach in Reiki I and II that you may not have learned
before.  The cost of these classes are slightly reduced.  As an extra bonus
with each attunement, even if it is a level that you have received before,
you will be able to hold higher frequencies and resonances of energy.    

A word on Reiki Master Training
You do not have to want to be a teacher to take this training.  Reiki
Master training can be completed by those who wish to complete their
Reiki training, but do not wish to attune others.  Reiki Master training
allows you to have complete access to the symbols used in a Reiki
session.  The attunements will allow you to hold a great amount of
energy and be able to channel it to aid in healing yourself and others.  If
you so wish to attune others and become a Master/Teacher you will have
the knowledge to do so, but do not let the "Teacher" aspect of this class
cause you to not complete your training.

Reiki I and
The Core Chakra System
Become attuned to Reiki energy that comes from our Creator.  Be able to
channel this wonderful healing energy for yourself and others.  Learn the
traditional hands on healing techniques of Reiki and also more modern
techniques that aid in energy balancing and creating energy flow in the
body.  The core chakra system as well as the corresponding 7 loving
energy codes will be discussed.  These are 7 of the 12-strand DNA- our
spiritual blueprint. Crystal layouts for the core chakra system will be
demonstrated.

Reiki II and
The Transference Chakra System
In Reiki II you will learn about the core chakra and transference chakra
systems.  You will learn what these chakras are, how they hold and
transfer energy, and how to use Reiki to open and balance the chakra
core channel by activating these chakra systems.  This will create
balanced flow within the body.  With this instruction comes new hand
positions in combination with the traditional hand positions.  There will
be plenty of hands on practice.  

With the Reiki II attunement you will become attuned to a higher
frequency of energy and be able to hold higher resonances of energy
within you.  You will also be attuned to three of the six Reiki symbols.  In
this class you will learn how to use these symbols to increase the Reiki
energy utilized in a session for yourself or for another.  You will also
learn how to send Reiki to the past to heal old wounds or to the future to
be there to help you.  

Advanced Reiki Training (ART) and
The Transcendental Chakra System
In this class you will be attuned to the Usui Master symbol.  This
attunement allows you to hold and channel higher frequencies of energy.  
You will learn advanced hand positions for healing and clearing of the
chakras.  You will learn about the chakra system beyond the 7 chakras.  
You will learn how to clear karmic energies and pastlife energies.  You
will learn how to use crystals with Reiki and also learn how to layout and
charge crystal grids.  You will be guided through meditation on a journey
to meet you Highest Reiki guide.  

This class is not the Reiki III- Master class but prepares you for that
class.   In the Reiki III- Master class you will be attuned to two Usui
Tibetan symbols- one being the Usui Tibetan Master symbol. As well as
learn how to give attunements and instruct others who wish to learn
Reiki.

Reiki levels I and II are a requirement for the Advanced Reiki Training
class.  If you have not taken Reiki classes with Jeannette, a Reiki I and II
review is required to continue to Advanced Reiki Training.  This is to get
you caught up on the modern hand positions and chakra systems that
you would have missed in a standard Usui Reiki class.  Contact us for

Reiki Master  and The Auric Chakra System
In the Reiki III Master class you will be attuned to two Usui Tibetan
symbols- one being the Usui Tibetan Master symbol.  All of the Reiki
symbols (total of 6) will be reviewed and there will be time for hands on
healing practice.  Learn how to instruct others who wish to learn Reiki as
well as attune them to the Reiki energy.  Learn how to give attunements
using the Usui and Usui Tibetan symbols.  Advanced chakra information
as well as crystal healing methods will also be discussed.
